Penetration testing involves our G5 Technologies experts attempting to access your network in the same way criminals would. Cyber attacks can lead to the disclosure of sensitive information or access to critical information systems. We know how cyber criminals work, and what they’re looking for, allowing us to replicate attacks in a controlled manner. In doing so, we’re able to determine if any identified threats could be used to mount a real attack against your organisation.

Our Approach

At G5 Technologies, we carry out an external network security assessment to evaluate the cyber risks present within your network. We start by conducting a ‘Threats Exposure’ assessment. This helps us to learn more about the types of data you hold that may be of interest to cyber criminals. We then use this information to see how criminals could gain access to this information, using a variety of methods.

Our mission is then to attempt to gain access to your network ourselves, making note of weaknesses that we could exploit, and ‘open doors’ we can easily get through. Following the test, we’ll provide you with comprehensive reports detailing our findings, and recommending the best course of action.
