Apprentice of the Year

G5’s very own Craig Chadwick was at Holyrood on 24th April after being shortlisted for the Microsoft’s Modern Apprentice of the Year awards.

Commenting on his experience Craig said: “I really appreciate being nominated for Apprentice of the Year and despite not winning, I still feel as if I have won. This was a new experience for me and the company and it was amazing to go through this with G5.  G5 and QA have given me a great opportunity and a trip to parliament was a nice way to end the apprenticeship program. I would recommend the program to other people my age looking to get into IT”.

Business Manager Kate Wemyss said:”We are so proud of Craig, he has a great attitude and really goes the extra mile, he deserves this recognition and although he didn’t win, it is still an immense achievement to be shortlisted for this award.  The apprenticeship program has been such a positive experience for us, we would thoroughly recommend it to employers as a fantastic opportunity to fill a skills shortage”.
